Priorities for Faithful Growth

When I became President of BB Queensland in early 2024, the Lord stirred my heart. He prompted me—and our Movement—to name a set of ministry priorities. These would guide us into a new season of growth, impact, and faithfulness.

More importantly, this wasn’t just about strategy. Instead, it was a spiritual invitation. A call to reconnect with our anchor—our Object—and to move forward with today’s young people. In doing so, we honour our heritage while embracing the opportunities of the present.

Since then, I’ve shared these priorities in many settings. Whether at leader gatherings, in newsletters, or through everyday conversations, they’ve sparked meaningful dialogue. As a result, they’ve encouraged reflection, inspired action, and helped us stay focused on our mission: to advance Christ’s Kingdom among boys and promote habits of obedience, reverence, discipline, self-respect, and true Christian manliness.

Now, as we look ahead, we’ll explore each priority in smaller bundles. In each post, we’ll unpack what it means, why it matters, and how we can live it out. Furthermore, we’ll draw from Scripture, share practical examples, and reflect on what faithfulness looks like in today’s world.

Ultimately, I hope these reflections will encourage, challenge, and equip you—whether you’re a leader, parent, supporter, or young person—to play your part in this unfolding story of faithful growth. Together, we can build momentum, deepen our impact, and remain anchored in Christ.
